I don’t know about you, but I find breakfasts can be very uninspiring, mainly if you are short of time. As I work multiple different roles, mornings usually are grabbing a quick cup of tea and whatever cereal is lurking at the back of the cupboard, which often leads to me feeling hungry again by 9am. Not ideal when you have a busy day. ”
I’ve recently been trying out the Herbalife nutrition shakes. They are so quick to make, and with the variety of flavours available, you could have a different one for every day of the week.
Formula 1 Vanilla flavour
Firstly let’s start off by saying how easy these are to make, All you need to do is mix two tablespoons (26g) of Formula 1 with 250ml of milk, and you are good to go. I usually whizz it up and pop it in this handy Herbalife reusable cup so I can take it with me. I’ve been trying different combinations, sometimes I add some banana and blend if I really need to be kept full until lunchtime or other days I merely top with Cinnamon, which is delicious at this time of year.
The shakes are perfect if you are looking for a quick and convenient start to the day and are great for those of you who like to keep active, as they are rich in protein which helps to maintain muscle mass, so they are great to have after a morning run or a gym session. What I like about the shakes is how delicious they are and the high level of vitamins and minerals they provide so you can be sure you are doing your body some good. They offer lots of B Vitamins such as B6 and B12 Which contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
This formula also contains Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc, which contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
This product has helped me out a lot on my freelance days. It has given me a sweet boost in the morning, and I love the taste. I also like how you can pour it in your travel cup and take it with you on the go if you do not have time for a nutritional breakfast or just prefer those extra minutes in bed.
I just know I am going to be reaching for this a lot at this time of year to keep myself healthy and it will be the perfect accompaniment to my morning workout and routine.
