A new season means a few updates to your makeup bag and these are some of my current favourites right now. I’ve been trying to try out products that I will want to wear on my wedding day, and that is long lasting, but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know in the comments?
Bare Minerals complexion rescue
This is the first product I’ve ever tried from Bare Minerals, but I have heard lots of good things about this product. I like to opt for a lighter coverage foundation in the Spring/Summer to not clog my pores, so this seemed a great option. I went for the shade Vanilla, and this is a little dark for me ( makes me look like I am tanned, which I am not really complaining about) I do find it challenging to apply as the blendability isn’t excellent and it tends to stay in one area, however the coverage is beautiful and SO natural. This would be great for a summer holiday giving you a natural sunkissed, flawless glow.
Nars Highlighter
After being a fan of the Nars blush for years, I wanted to try a highlighter. I opted for shade Capri, as I thought it would be perfect for summer holidays as it has a golden, rose gold tone to it. The pigmentation is beautiful, and it gives a radiant glow and helps to make your cheekbones pop.
Too Faced You’re so jelly * Gifted
Wow, I have never tried a liquid highlighter before, but this product is gorgeous. It’s in the shade rose pink and smells like strawberries. I think a cream highlighter works well as it’s effortless to create a well-blended, natural look without looking like you are wearing highlight. The tone is gorgeous, and I’d be interested in trying a gold shade of this as I think that would look gorgeous on brown skin! If you are looking for a new highlight, this one is a dream!
Dipbrow pomade
I don’t know where I have been or why it’s taken me SO long to try this out, but I now don’t think I can live without it. It gives the appearance of freshly waxed and tinted brows without having to go to the salon. I love how easy it is to apply, and the shade range is excellent for all hair tones, it’s essential in every makeup bag for sure.
