foxcookies, baking,

I must start this post, by saying I am not a good baker, but decorating cookies & cake’s is something I enjoy, and I do make a mean Rocky Road, but that is about as far as my culinary skills go, but I have been wanting to make some cute foxy biscuits for ages, so we gave it a good go.

Step 1

Whip up a batch of your favorite cookies, be that chocolate chip, shortbread, ginger-nut’s, whatever you desire. I would say shortbread would work really well, as it has such a smooth consistency. Leave too cool.

Step 2

Using the same shape cutter as you did for the biscuits, we thought a heart would be easier, cut this shape out of roll out icing in a red/burgundy color to create the foxes body. Use icing sugar as your ‘glue’ to stick the foxes body to your biscuit base.

Step 3

Using your piping white icing, draw on your foxes nose, we tried to do it in a triangle shape down the middle of the heart, although using the icing was rather tricky. Dot two blots for eyes and above draw a half triangle to make the ears.

Step 4

Using black roll out icing, roll two smaller balls for the eyes and a slightly larger one for the nose and apply like so. On some of the foxes, we used butterfly decorations, to make little bows, to make some more cute, which I think is a lovely touch.

& you are done, Cute little Fox biscuits.

Perfect for Autumn.

These are the cutest! What an awesome baking treat. I did little ones with owls once, totally need to now do one with foxes 🙂 x Jasmin Charlotte
